What is a Respiratory Clinic?
The respiratory clinics are for patients with acute respiratory symptoms lasting two weeks or less, such as sore throat, runny nose, cough, congestion, and earaches who feel they need to be seen by a doctor and not emergency care. These clinics are for those that would normally see their family doctor/primary care provider or walk-in clinic for these types of symptoms. They are staffed by a physician and nurse.
These clinics are not designed for those with chronic respiratory health issues such as COPD, asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep apnea, etc.
