New Hire Requirements

All new applicants with Prairie Mountain Health must complete the following Pre-Employment checks as listed below:

Pre-employment checks

  • Criminal Record Check
    • PMH requires you to complete and return a valid police criminal record check with the vulnerable sector search (dated within the last 6 months) prior to being offered a position.
    • Please note: Applicants will be required to provide a criminal record check at his or her own expense.
    • Please go to your nearest Police/RCMP detachment to request a valid check.
  • Child Abuse Registry Check
    • PMH requires you to complete and return a valid Child Abuse Registry check (dated within the last 6 months) prior to being offered a position.
    • Child Abuse Registry Self Check Application form is available from Human Resources or at the following website link: www.gov.mb.ca.
  • Adult Abuse Registry Check
    • PMH requires you to complete and return a valid Adult Abuse Registry check (dated within the last 6 months) prior to being offered a position.
    • Adult Abuse Registry Self Check Application form is available from Human Resources or at the following website link: www.gov.mb.ca.

Please present all original paperwork to your hiring manager on or before your first day of employment.

Proof of certification of required qualifications will be required, as listed on the position description.

Supporting Documents

Many of the positions with PMH require that confirmation of credentials are provided prior to employment. Such documents may include the following:

  • Confirmation of graduation (credentials)
  • Confirmation of Affiliation/Memberships (MASW, MAPN, etc.)
  • Confirmation of Driver’s License
  • Other
