Masks are Mandatory at all PMH Facilities

All persons visiting health care facilities, including designated support persons, designated visitors and outpatients attending medical appointments, are now required to bring and wear and non-medical mask for the duration of their visit.

A person who enters or remains in our facilities must wear a mask in a manner that covers their mouth, nose and chin without gapping.

Exemptions

  • Children under the age of five years of age;
  • Individuals with medical conditions unrelated to COVID-19, including breathing or cognitive difficulties, that prevent them from safely wearing a mask are exempted from this requirement;
  • Persons who are unable to put on or remove their mask without assistance are similarly exempted.
